Two men who held up a US Bank and made their getaway on a scooter, of all things, have been captured by the Ventura Police Department.
Authorities ay 19 year-old Dylan Bogart and 20 year-old Jasen Eckhart were taken into custody less than two days after the robbery took place.
It all started when one of the men walked into a local grocery store and made a b-line to the teller counter of an in-store bank branch. From there, he pulled out a gun and demanded the teller hand over cash.
And once the man had what he came for, he walked back outside and hopped on the getaway scooter. He and the driver, who was also wearing a full helmet, proceeded to make their getaway.
Authorities arrested the men at their homes on Wednesday morning and took them to the Ventura County Jail to start the booking process.
Eckhart has since been released on bail bonds, but Bogart is still behind bars. The 19 year-old is being charged with multiple counts of robbery and brandishing a replica firearm. His bail bonds have been set at $150,000.
