A spokesperson from the Ventura County Jail has confirmed that 29-year-old Marquis Ross, 31-year-old Darieo Hannah and 32-year-old Dajon Rice have been booked into the county lockup on burglary charges.
The defendants are believed to be tied to a string of Simi Valley burglaries that happened in 2014.
Police said that during the timeframe in question, they saw an uptick in burglaries in that area; in several of the incidents, the men broke into the homes by “smashing rear-facing sliding glass doors.”
The defendants have been charged with conspiracy, participating in street gang activity and felony residential burglary. Each defendant has had their bail bonds set at half a million dollars.
If the defendants want to bond out, they’ll need to hire a Ventura County bail bondsman to assist with their bail bonds. The cost to purchase Ventura bail bonds will be 10% of the defendant’s total bail amount. Based on the size of this bail, the cosigner will need to post property collateral.
