Convicted felons aren’t supposed to have firearms. If law enforcement officials determine someone who has been convicted of a felony crime has a gun, ammunition and/or both, they often find themselves in hot water.
That’s exactly what happened to 25 year-old Kelley Pasos, who was arrested on suspicion of shooting a gun into the air. This type of action is extremely dangerous as wayward bullets have been known to seriously injure people.
According to a report by The Moorpark Acorn, one of the suspect’s family members alerted police that Pasos had fired shots after he got into an argument with an unknown person outside their home. Police said they aren’t entirely sure how many shots had been fired by the time they arrived on scene.
Pasos was arrested after a brief investigation and has since been released from the Ventura County Jail on $50,000 bail bonds. He is due to appear in court later this month.
